Anyway, if you have never had corn flake crumb chicken, the crumbs form a nice crisp crust and the chicken stays moist and delicious. It is baked, so it is easy to make and it is so yummy!
Corn Flake Crumb Chicken
Chicken leg quarters (about 5)
1 cup corn flake crumbs (you can buy them already crumbed and just the right texture)
1/2 T seasoned salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1 T milk
- Preheat oven to 375 F
- In shallow bowl, mix together the egg and milk.
- In another bowl, mix corn flake crumbs and seasonings.
- Dip chicken quarters in egg mixture and then the crumb mixture, making sure the coat the whole chicken piece.
- Place on greased baking sheet and bake until crisp and golden brown (about 45 minutes to an hour). Use an instant read thermometer to ensure the chicken is fully cooked.
