Gingerbread Skillet Roll with Egg Nog Glaze

Now that it is Christmas time, I just knew that I needed to make a new skillet roll.  Adults and kids alike love the idea of a GIANT  cinnamon roll.  But Christmas morning has to be extra special.  So, I took the signature flavors of the season and married them into on of my favorite treats.

The dough is full of gingerbread flavor.  The filling also has those signature spices that gives it just a little something extra.  Add a little egg nog to the glaze and it is definitely like taking a bite of Christmas!

I am really excited to be participating in the 12 Days of Christmas series over at Crafty Allie's. Head on over and check out the recipe! While you're there check out some of the other fun ideas that have been posted in the 12 Days of Christmas series.  So far there have been ornaments, chandelier decorations, cookies, Santas stuffed with goodies, and now a gingerbread skillet roll!  It sounds like Christmas is going to be pretty and delicious this year!
