There is nothing quite like the combination of fudge and peppermint. For some reason it is especially good this time of year. Whether it is peppermint ice cream with hot fudge or hot cocoa stirred with a candy cane, it is a classic flavor that always put a smile on my face. I have been experimenting with making cakes from scratch lately and have been having a lot of fun doing it. So, I thought I would make a cake using this combination.
There is plenty of white chocolate buttercream sandwiched between two layers of fudgy chocolate cake and topped with crushed candy canes. You are going to love this cake!
