Easy Family Meal Plan Week 18

Hip hip hooray for the weekend!  This time of year is always jam packed with activities.  It has been for as long as I can remember.  As a kid it was sporting events, dance recitals, end of school activities, graduations and the like.  Now its parades, blog events and more (super fun) blog events and birthday parties to throw!  I am chasing my tail, but at least it is all for happy things.  But all this craziness means having our meals planned out in advance is that much more important.  Every little bit of organization helps when you don't know if you are coming or going.  So without further ado, I present this week's menu!

Let's start off with this Amazing Korean Chicken (or beef!) from Joyful Homemaking.  I have limited experience with Korean food, but have enjoyed everything I've tried. I can't wait to add this to the list!

When I was a kid we would spend our summers at the pool up the road from the house. Occasionally we'd have lunch at the 19th Hole patio above the pool and I would almost always order the French Dip Sandwich. They were my favorite! So these gems from New South Charm are definitely singing to me!

Now it's time to switch things up a bit with some Pesto Tuna Cakes from Jonesin' For Taste.  We haven't had any kind of fish cakes in a while, so they will be a treat.

This Chicken Divan will help us get over the midweek hump.  Recipe Treasures is always sharing great family friendly food!

As the weekend rolls in, it is time to break out the grill.  My brother K.C. is the grill and smoker maestro of the family and he created this Turkey Bacon Explosion for our poultry grill-off.  Of course he won, but with all that bacon it's not hard to see why!

This Smoked Gouda Mac and Cheese from A Day in Candiland would be great with that bacon explosion.  I would also be happy with a big bowl of it and a fork. I'd call it dinner with a smile on my face!

Of course we'll need a little reward for making it through.  This Pistachio Pudding Cake from Tastefully Eclectic will certainly do the trick!
