Easy Family Meal Plan Week 29

We have your menu planned for you.  With six fun dinner recipes and a fun cake too, we take the guess work out of feeding your family!

I hope you all are having a lovely weekend! Ours has been pretty nice so far. Other than some tinkering around the house, we didn't have a ton of stuff on the agenda which was a nice change of pace.  Also the weather is beautiful.  It is warm here, but not nearly as hot and humid as it has been.  So good news all around!

There are a lot of fun things coming up on the blog as well.  Yesterday was National Chicken Wing Day, so we offered up some hot wing suggestions. Get your sweet tooth warmed up because it looks like I am going to be sharing some fun sweet treats with you all week.  But don't worry too much because next week some friends and I will be loading you up with ideas for your farmer's market finds.  Of course I managed to work a sweet or two in, but I promise they won't all be desserts.  This weekend we will be getting ready for football season with a tailgate recipe as well.  So many fun things to look forward to!

Now it's time to check out this week's menu!

We are big fans of egg sandwiches around here and I love the flavor combination in this one.  We will definitely be looking forward to these sundried tomato mayo, bacon and egg sandwiches from Joyful Homemaker.

We haven't had a turkey tamale pie in a little while, so I can't wait to make it again.  This is a fun dinner that is always popular at our house.

Next up we'll have some chicken and wild rice casserole from New South Charm.

Eggs must be the theme this week, which is perfect for us. MiMi just sent us home with plenty of farm fresh eggs.  They will be great in this potato crust quiche from Recipe Treasures.

You can bake or fry these empanadas from Jonesin' for Taste.  I'd go with the baking option just because I pretty much never fry at home, but I'd love for you to fry them and invite me over so I can try it that way too!

We'll round out the week with another dish featuring and egg or two.  This croque madame pizza has a perfect marriage of those classic french flavors in a fun pizza form!

And you know this last one is going to make me happy. And easy summer peach cake from Tastefully Eclectic sounds like the perfect way to celebrate the start of August!
