Merry Christmas to Me!!

I am so excited.... there is no recipe in this post, but I had to show off my new buffet and art!  I ordered this in December and it finally came!  The Buffet is 9 feet long and the art work is 3' x 3' each so you can get an idea of how big it is.  It is BIG!!

So big that it is hard to get a good picture of!  Here are the paintings, made by Stephanie of F.A.C.T.

Aren't they cool?  She is making another one for above my couch.  I can't wait to see what she comes up with!  This is actually my third set of paintings by her, so that will be my fourth piece.  I love them all.

I can't wait to host a party so I can fill up all of that serving space!!

Here are some close-up views of the buffet.  The finish is an off-white wash that lets a lot of the wood show through.  There is some spotted distressing, but no real gouges (my husband loves to work with wood and hates gouged distressing!).  The decoration in front of the mirrors is more of a gold hue.  We are really happy with it.  We live in a big 1920's bungalow style house with big thick dark trim.  Our buffet on the other side of the dining room is dark wood and our table when opened out fully is 11' and 10 chairs of dark wood.  It is nice to have something a little lighter in the room!

  1. Gorgeous! I would love a close up of the buffet paint! Thanks for sharing at Show and Tell Link Party, I pinned it!

    1. I will try to get one tomorrow when there is more light!

    2. I added more pictures, some closer up and some to give more context. Thanks for stopping by!

Thank you so much for taking the time to read and comment. I love reading your ideas!
