Sweetened condensed milk, white chocolate, pumpkin and spice come together to make these luscious treats. Serve it in squares like pieces of fudge or roll it up into a ball with a coating of graham cracker crumbs for a full pumpkin pie experience. Either way it is a super simple way to get the flavors of fall on the table in an easy no bake recipe.
MiMi originally shared this recipe back in 2015. She made it as a fudge the week of Thanksgiving as a fun addition to the regular desserts.
I thought it would be fun to make it again
this. This time I made it as truffles rolled in graham crackers to mimic
a crust.

I will be honest, the mixture is on the softer side
of fudge recipes. The final texture of your fudge is going to depend
very much on the water content of the pumpkin you use.
Using pumpkin butter is the best way to make a firmer
fudge or truffle. Using puree is not out of the question, but the added
liquid is likely to make your final product less pretty.
If you find your candy is too soft, freeze it until it is
firm. Then store it in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve it. It
will still taste amazing even if it loses its shape a bit.

Today is Tuesday and Thanksgiving is Thursday and I told
Carlee that I would create another easy fudge recipe for the holiday. I
also happen to be the dessert committee for our large family gathering.
Peanut butter Oreo balls
done. 2 -3/4 Old Fashioned Honey Maple Pecan Pies
in the refrigerator along with a
Pumpkin Slab Pie.
Chocolate cake and peanut butter cookies ready to go too.
I just have a few finishing touches left to do and the dessert part of
my contribution will be done.
And just now I remember my promise to Carlee.
No problem.
I got this.
That's the nice part about making quick and easy fudge.
I suppose it's because I'm smelling that wonderful slab pumpkin pie that
pumpkin came to mind.
White chocolate sounds like a great companion to pumpkin.
When I was almost done making the fudge Chloe walked in the room.
No problem.
I got this.

I can't wait to find out how this family tackles these dessert choices. It will be fun to watch this scene unfold.

where can you buy Pumpkin butter?
ReplyDeleteIt is likely by the jellies and peanut butter at the grocery store. Otherwise it's simple to make at home from a can of pumpkin puree!
