12 Fun Father's Day Ideas

Are you ready to spoil dad rotten on Father's Day? If not, you are certainly not alone.  There is something here for everyone!

Start the day off right with a great breakfast!

Perhaps dad will love Dad's Favorite Blueberry Pancakes from Family Around the Table or Biscuits and Gravy Bubble Up from A Kitchen Hoor's Adventures.

For dinner I'm sure he'd be happy with BBQ Bacon Cheeseburgers from Jolene's Recipe Journal or maybe he likes it spicy and would love Buffalo Wing Burgers from Red Cottage Chronicles.  Or maybe he'd like something different all together.  How about some Mongolian Beef from Best of Long Island and Central Florida.  Either would be delicious with Crusty Potatoes from a Delightful Glow and Daddy's Broccoli Salad from Delightful Repast.

Maybe you'd prefer to make dad a gift.  He'd love these Coasters With a Twist from A Crafty Mix.  The twist is really a fun idea! Or perhaps he has an adventurer's spirit and would appreciate these Map Coasters from The Boondocks Blog. I know little dude would love to help make a set, especially if we called it a treasure map!

I know my husband would love to spend Father's Day Weekend camping in one of these yurts like Corn, Beans, Pigs and Kids.

Of course I need to have a little something sweet to call it a celebration.  We all love peanut butter and chocolate, so I know these Soft and Fluffy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies from Kelly Lynn's Sweets & Treats will be a hit. And for my own daddy, a White Texas Sheet Cake.  White cake and white frosting is one of his favorite desserts.

I hope these gave you some inspiration to celebrate all of your favorite dads.  We can't wait to celebrate again soon.  We will be hosting a 4th of July themed party at the end of the month, so gather up your best stuff and get ready!

  1. I have to admit these are some of the most real gifts from the heart for Father's day Carlee. Everyone of them is made with love for that special Dad person. Thank you so much for hosting the party and putting together all these wonderful ideas. Hope your hubby and your Dad have an amazing day
