Easy Family Meal Plan Week 31

We have this week's menu planned for you! With 5 tasty dinner recipes and a super fun {chocolate and peanut butter!} dessert, your family is going to be happy!

Hooray for the weekend! Am I right?! We have a fun one planned.  We went to a local BBQ last night.  Actually BBQ isn't the right word, but that's what it's called.  We actually had fried fish! But there are rides and games and lots of people.  The little guy had lots of fun and if you hurry up, you may catch a glimpse on my Instagram stories.

Tonight we are going to be having a campfire dinner and pitching a tent in the backyard.  Last time my husband tried to take little dude camping, he didn't make it through the night. To be honest, I wasn't too sad.  That meant we both got to sleep in our comfy beds while my husband and in-laws slept on the ground. ;-P  Anyway, we are going to try it in the backyard this weekend to see how it goes.  His daddy is hoping for more camping trips in the future!

Now lets take a look at the menu!

First up we'll have some 30 minute one pot chili from New South Charm. This would be perfect for our campout too!

Next up we'll have some pulled pork spaghetti.  This is a fun way to use up some leftover pulled pork.  I almost always have a bit of pork in the freezer for quick dinners like this!

Then we'll have some baked chicken and spinach egg rolls from Joyful Homemaking.

Now we'll have another campfire ready dinner! This grilled smoked sausage and potatoes from Jonesin' for Taste looks delicious!

We'll round out the week with some meatball tortellini soup from Tastefully Eclectic.

Of course we'll be ready for treat after another long week! These nutter butter brownies from Recipe Treasures will be just the thing!

  1. All through the upper Midwest, we have the Friday Fish Frys - the bars all do it, too and some of the Churches. I think it's a hold over from the no meat on Friday abstinence. But why not turn all that sacrifice into a party?!! It sounds like a fun time and we loved backyard camping when I was a kid. We'd toss blankets over the clothesline for a tent. And we didn't always make it through the night..

    1. Little Dude and I didn't make it through the night either! He had to potty a few hours in and we never made it back to the tent! Luckily we stayed out there long enough to earn some campfire breakfast!

Thank you so much for taking the time to read and comment. I love reading your ideas!
