Fresh From The Farmer's Market Recipe Inspiration

Use those garden fresh vegetables to their full potential! Whether you are shopping at the farmers market or harvesting your own garden, we have tons of recipe inspiration!

It's that time of year where the fresh produce is coming in the door faster than we can eat it.  While I love all of the fresh fruit and veggies, it can get to be a challenge to get it all eaten without the dishes getting redundant. Not to fear though! I have faith that my blogger friends will help us get over the hump!

We always plant a small garden and even though the footprint isn't that large, we tend to get a ton of produce.  We give some to family and friends, eat it in every way I can think of and freeze some for later if that's possible.

Add to that the fact that we are getting weekly boxes of produce from our CSA share and we are really swimming in produce. There are way worse problems to have!

Lets make a dill pickle

So we have been trying out all kinds of new vegetables and even more new recipes to keep things fun and exciting.  As we speak I have a counter full of tomatoes and cucumbers and a box we picked up yesterday from the CSA that is brimming with watermelon, cantaloupe, peppers, potatoes, leeks, tomatoes, corn, squash and onions.

While I am certainly hoping you all get inspiration from the recipes shared here, I am selfishly excited to get some fun new ideas too!  I have a lot of veggies to eat this week!!

If you are a blogger, drop off your favorite recipes that star garden and farmers market finds.  We can't wait to see your best stuff. (Dropping off a link gives us permission to share on social media and in a possible future features post.)

If you are not a blogger, feel free to peruse the recipes shared below. I know I am going too! If there isn't enough yet, never fear, my friends and I will be posting more farmers market inspired dishes this week so come back later for more inspiration!
