Fabulous Fall Dinners

I have compiled some of my family's favorite fall dinner recipes. This collection of entrees and sides are perfect for your dinner table this autumn.

Cooler weather always gets me ready for warmer flavors. This collection of our favorite fall dinner recipes is full of comfort food, fall vegetables and seasonal flavors to get you in the mood. Which are you going to make first?

September is here! For which I have a few thoughts:

First, what took so long?

And second, already?!

I feel like September is one of those strange times when your mind starts drifting to fall. The football season starts, school has started and pumpkin spice lattes are back. Labor Day has come and gone so summer is unofficially over.

But Mother Nature doesn't play by those rules. Nobody, not even the commissioner of the NFL or Starbucks can tell her when it's fall.

She plays by her own rules and she's not changing just because the page on the calendar did!

There are signals that fall may come though. For now we'll have to grasp those as a bit of hope. The evenings are starting to cool down and every once in a while a crisp breeze blows through.

Fall is my favorite season. If it weren't followed so closely by winter it would be darn near perfect. The clothes, the food, the campfires, the football, the cooler weather... it's all so nice!

So I don't care if it's still ninety degrees out, I am starting fall prep mode. We'll still do plenty of grilling these next few months but I am ready to bust out the fall flavors as well.

I'll start by sharing some of our favorite fall dinner ideas. But keep an eye out because we are going to end this month with tons of pumpkin and apple fun!

Fall Dinner Recipes

Apple Ale Pumpkin Chili is the ultimate fall food. It combines three classic fall flavors in one bowl. It is perfect by a campfire, great while watching the football game and sooooo much more!

Roasted pork loin goes perfect with apples and squash. Make them all together on one sheet pan for a fall dinner winner!

Maybe you are in the mood for a salad? This fall dinner salad is flavored with chicken, apples and cheese and dressed in a simple homemade salad dressing!

Serve up some brown sugar dijon pork roast with roasted veggies for an instant win. It's another great sheet pan dinner where everything cooks at once!

A bowl of chicken pot pie soup is the perfect comfort food dinner. It is warming, delicious and easy to make. Top it with a biscuit or some crumbled up pie crust bits for a special treat!

While we are on the subject of soup, this copycat Kelly's cheese soup is perfect! It is creamy, delicious and full of veggies and pasta. It is sure to win your family over on the first bite!

The bbq pulled pork enchiladas are loaded with cheesy sour cream sauce. They are a stick to your ribs, flavorful meal. They are sure to be an instant favorite!

Apple cider pulled pork is full of flavor. It cooks all day in the slow cooker, so you can go on with your busy life. We like it served on waffles with apple slaw or pile it on mashed potatoes.

Is pizza more your style? Then this savory apple bacon pizza is a great way to change it up. They white sauce, cheese, apples and bacon just work so well together!

If you are in the mood for something really different, this buffalo chicken lasagna is the thing for you. It is creamy, cheesy and has jut enough buffalo kick. You are going to love it!

Fall Side Dish Ideas

Fall vegetables and chestnuts are roasted into tender perfection and coated in a maple glaze. They are absolutely fabulous and you may even find yourself snacking on them!

Creamy and flavorful with a hint of wine and cheese, this butternut squash risotto is the epitome fall side dishes.

It's hard to go wrong with cheesy potatoes, especially if you add bacon! These always disappear quickly every time we make them!
