Piles of fluffy buttercream are extra sweet when they are spiked with delicious peach syrup. This fun frosting would be perfect with a buttery vanilla cake and is fabulous on sweet tea cupcakes. What will you put it on first?

I had to end #brunchweek with a sweet. It just wouldn't be like me not to.

As much as I loved the homemade blackberry lemonade (it is so refreshing!) And bacon cheddar bread wreath (the perfect thing to dip in a runny egg yolk!), we all know I am all about the frosting. So I just had to whip up a fun American buttercream for you.

The minute the bottle of Torani peach syrup arrived at my door, I knew it would make a fun frosting. I had used their toasted marshmallow syrup to top s'more cupcakes and they were a smashing success.

Of course a nice pipable American buttercream requires a generous helping of powdered sugar. Luckily Dixie Crystals had me covered on that front.

When deciding what flavor to make the cupcakes, for some reason peach tea was in my head. So sweet tea cupcakes were born.

The cupcakes were not overly sweet, so they went well with the sweeter punch this frosting packs.

It was so much fun to see it come together. The syrup not only adds the flavor and liquid for the recipe, but it adds a nice peach hue as well.

I didn't have to add any additional coloring to make the frosting a pretty peach color. It's like an all in one solution!

Of course a glass of party ready peach tea needs a pretty straw. That's where Sweets and Treats stepped in.

A third of a paper straw stuck in each frosted cupcake helped to drive the flavor combination home. I also sprinkled some of their "Apple Cider" colored sugar on top further accentuate those peach tea vibes.

I have to say I was really quite pleased with how they turned out. They were cute and perfect for a summer soiree!

I love playing with frosting flavors and textures.  What is the most fun frosting you've ever had?

This is the end of #BrunchWeek, I hope you've picked up lots of delicious ideas along the way. Be sure to check out the recipes below and enter to win the prizes. Check out the sponsor and prize info HERE!
