Today’s post is sponsored by Barlean's, However, all opinions are my own.

If breakfast is the most important meal of the day, it should be extra nutritious and delicious luckily you can stir together a batch of strawberries and cream oats ahead of time and just grab a jar on the way out the door. Of course you can enjoy it for a leisurely brunch as well, no time pressure necessary!
Weekday mornings always feel a little hectic. There's coffee to drink, dressing to do and social media to schedule. (Just me?)
Then you throw in the added pressure during the school year. Is the bookbag packed? What about the lunchbox? Is today show and tell?

So making a big breakfast is almost always out of the question. But I want to make sure Little Dude makes it to school with a full belly so he can do his best.
Overnight oatmeal is a great way to check all of the boxes. You make it ahead so there's no effort in the middle of an already hectic morning.
You can just grab a jar and let them enjoy it on the way to school or while you finish getting ready. Grab one for yourself too.

It'll be a perfect morning treat at the office or when you can find a minute for yourself.
There are a lot of great ways to make overnight oatmeal. As long as you have proportional amounts of liquid and oats, almost anything goes.
I love using yogurt in my oats, especially whole milk organic yogurt. I feel like the active cultures do my body good and it tastes delicious too.

Of course the oatmeal adds whole grains and fiber helping you to feel full longer. Fresh (or defrosted) fruit adds great flavor, more fiber and vitamins too!
I stirred in some Barlean's omega pals to add a flavorful omega 3 boost. It's optional in this recipe and the results are delicious either way.
