Do you have a pretty new dutch oven just itching to be used, but no idea what to do with it? Don’t worry, here are some great ideas to get you started on your dutch oven loving journey!

Dutch ovens are super versatile.  You can bake, fry, braise, brown, boil and more in them.  That makes them super wonderful, but it can also be overwhelming to know where to start. 

Here are a variety of great recipes that are perfect ways to get using your enameled cast iron beauty.  Try a few and you’ll be ready to use your Dutch oven every night!

Last week I told you a little bit about my love for enameled dutch ovens.  They are so pretty and hard working, it is hard not to love them.

Maybe you got one as a gift, or you’ve been pining after one in the store.  But what will you use it for?

All the delicious things, that is what! I thought I would get some recipes together to give you some ideas to use that pretty pot more.

Creamy one pot chicken and noodles dinner is almost like eating a perfect chicken pot pie, but without the fuss. It is quick, easy and there is only one pot to clean when you are done. Feed your hungry family a filling and delicious dinner without any hassle. It is sure to fill them up and make them smile.

Turn a few simple ingredients into a whole meal in 30 minutes.  You dutch oven will be so glad to help you along the way. One pot creamy chicken orzo from New South Charm is a perfect quick dinner.
