If you are looking for a well rounded and easy to make family meal, you are in the right place. This recipe has it all going for it.

It is quick to assemble and can even be put together ahead of time.  It has all of the major food groups baked right in. It has enough cheese and sausage to make the whole family love it.

So go ahead and whip one up for your dinner tonight!

Finding easy dinners that the whole family loves can really be a challenge sometimes.  Especially while maintaining our busy schedules.

Even though we haven’t been leaving home much lately, the clock still seems to be ticking down each evening.  So having some easy options in your recipe box that can deliver a tasty meal without a ton of work is always a good thing.

This recipe is made from ingredients that are easy to keep on hand.  We almost always have a bag or two of egg noodles in the pantry.

In a pinch you could even use another shape of pasta.  Shells would be fun or rotini would work great as well.

We also always have frozen broccoli in the freezer.  I know that it seems to be one of those vegetables people love to hate, but my family loves to love it… especially if there is cheese involved!

If you don’t have chicken stock, don’t despair. Using water and bouillon works well, or even better get yourself a jar of chicken soup base.

Pork kielbasa is such a great addition to any meal.  It adds so much flavor and keeps well.

So you can pick a couple up to have on hand for easy meals like my kielbasa, pierogi and brussels sprouts sheet pan dinner. It’s fabulous in a good low country shrimp boil or Jambalaya too!

With all of these favorite ingredients coming together in one comforting casserole, there is no way it won’t be good.  So if these items aren’t already on your grocery list or in your pantry, get to changing that now!

Make ahead instructions

If you know you are going to have a busy evening, feel free to assemble this recipe ahead of time.  Get it all together to the point where you would put it in the oven, then cover and refrigerate it.

When it is time to get it in the oven, just place the casserole dish on the counter while the oven preheats. This will give it a chance to take a little of the chill off before it bakes.

Then just add five to ten minutes to the bake time.  It won’t take too much longer.  Just make sure the sauce is bubbly and the cheese is all melted and you should be good to go!

More Easy and Yummy Pork Dinner Ideas

If comforting, cheesy casseroles are a hit with your family, make sure you get the cheesy potato and pork chop bake on your menu.  It is another filling and delicious meal that doesn’t take a ton of effort to put together.

For another all in one meal, check out the pork tenderloin sheet pan supper.  It has the potatoes, veggies and meat all on one pan for big flavor and easy clean up.

When cooking for a crowd, we usually turn to pulled pork. Don’t despair if you have a ton of leftovers, I have so many yummy ways to use leftover pulled pork that you will start making it just for the leftovers!

Make a whole well balanced meal in almost no time with the help of a pressure cooker. Kielbasa, cabbage and potatoes in the instant pot is a delicious all in one dinner.

I’m wondering if I can double the sauce as it doesn’t seem to be saucy enough when I watched the video. What are your thoughts? I’m making this tonight, so I’m curious. Thank you.

I don't see why not. It may end up a little bit soupy, but I would think the pasta will help soak up some of the extra liquid.
